What's Changed?

A Season of E-volution for E-Exclusive
After nearly a decade of steady rates, several updates are being introduced to ensure the continued use of high-quality professional products and advanced styling techniques. These changes reflect a commitment to providing attentive, specialty hair care that fits into your life.
 
What is Changing?
  • Hourly Booking Model: To provide maximum quality control, services are now booked by the hour rather than by a flat-rate service list. This ensures that the time spent on your hair is never rushed and includes a built-in “Refinement Cushion” for personalized modifications.
  • Determining Your Appointment Length: New clients or those requesting a change in style can determine their required service duration by booking a Consultation.
  • Travel-Only Service: To bring a specialty salon experience directly to your door, all sessions are now mobile.
  • Tiered Booking Options:
    • Standard Tier: Available Wed–Sun (10am–6pm). A familiar booking experience with a modest hourly rate adjustment. Local travel and warranties can be added at checkout.
    • Premium Tier: For those requiring maximum flexibility (5am–Midnight). This all-inclusive hourly tier includes a 2-week styling warranty and complimentary travel within 80 miles* of 45247.
  • Direct Booking via Acuity: Starting June 15, all new bookings move to Acuity to foster a more direct, private scheduling relationship. (StyleSeat appointments will be honored through April 2027).

*80 mile service radius excludes premium appointments 2hrs or less.

 

Specialty Adjustments
  • Procurement Fee: A dedicated fee now applies to all new extension requests to cover the professional time required to custom-match and source premium-grade hair.
  • Updated Visuals: Look for the new logo, redesigned to celebrate the diverse range of hair types and curl patterns serviced.

When are these changes taking place

Important Dates
  • June 15: New bookings move exclusively to Acuity.
  • Through April 15 2027: Any appointments already scheduled on StyleSeat will be fully honored.
  • Until October 15: Regular and VIP clients can use their individual Coupon codes sent with their service update message.
